Do Dham Yatra
Discover the only route to one of the most sacred places in Garhwal Himalayas,
where the pilgrims used to walk for months to reach to get glimpse of the Holy
Shrine of Badrinath.
The history and the people are some of the landmark, the most sacred river all
along gives witness to the bygone era.
Day 1:
Arrive at Haridwar Station by Shatabadi express, transfer to Milestones' Camp
(2 hrs drive).
Lunch is upon arrival. Late afternoon short walk to a nearby waterfall. Return
to camp by evening. Dinner around bonfire, overnight is at the camp.
Day 2:
Post breakfast drive to Deopragyag - an ancient town known for confluence of
river Bhagirathi and river Alaknanda, ultimately the formation of mighty Ganges.
Witness the worship ceremony at the ghats. Start the trek downhill along the
river on gradual paths, a 12 km trek gets you Byasghat by late afternoon. Evening
is free at leisure. Dinner at the camp, overnight is at the camp on a beach.
Day 3:
Early breakfast at the camp. Continue trekking on the pilgrims' trail, passing
through stream and suspension bridges. Arrive at Kudiyalla by early evening.
Evening tea and dinner around bonfire at the camp overnight is at the camp.
Day 4:
Breakfast at the camp. Post breakfast a short white rafting trip at the Ganges,
stopping enroots for a picnic lunch on the beach. Return to camp by late afternoon.
Evening tea and early dinner at the camp Depart Camp for your onward destination.
