Dances in Rajasthan Desert
A mild rose tinted stone forts and palaces sitting atop stretches of golden

drink in the sights of colourful turbans and 'Odhnis'; on cheerful, sun burnt

Day -1:
Arrive to the quiet comfort of Ajit Bhawan in Jodhpur.
Day- 2:
The city tour begins in the morning with a visit to the Jodhpur Fort. Legend
dates the fort to the mid fifteenth century, crediting its spot to the choice
of a hermit advisor to Rao Jodha. Proceeding to the palace complex, you will
see several architectural styles like Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal the pride of
Rajput warriors displays arrange of ornamental weapons.
After a late check out, your afternoon is free for independent explorations
of places which catch your fancy. At night, prepare to board a desert train
from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and dream from a framed window of stars.
Day - 3:
With the first light of dawn at Jaisalmer station, we transfer you to hotel
Narain Niwas Relax and soak in the unusual ambience of a Desert city. The afternoon
sight seeing leads you to the mysterious interiors of the Jaisalmer Fort, called
Sonar Kella by Satyajit Ray. Folklore speaks of a time when lord Krishna struck
the rocks to release drinking water in this arid land. Richly carved balconies
are part of Jaisalmer, a special architecture, as seen in the Palaces and Havelis.
As the sun dips over the horizon, we take you on a long camel ride to the layered
Sand Dunes at Sam; you camp for the night in tented accommodation and dine by
the light of a bonfire while musicians celebrate legends of Rajput glory.
Day - 4:
Returning to Jaisalmer, you have a room to freshen up and enjoy a free morning.
later in the evening, we make you comfortable on the overnight Desert train
to Jodhpur.
Day - 5:
On this leisurely morning in Jodhpur, we put a car at your disposal with a few
suggestions on where you may wish to explore sightseeing or shopping possibilities.
Antique shops and local Handicrafts are plentiful. Your lunch arrangements are
at the Umaid Bhawan, the palace hotel belonging to the present Maharaja of Jodhpur.
